Each week we will be featuring an AE employee modeling their favorite pieces from the AE Vintage Collegiate Collection. This week we have Erin S., Men’s Buyer, and a graduate of Notre Dame, sporting the Notre Dame Vintage Long Sleeve T. She shared one of her favorite memories with us from her college days.

“Notre Dame is just one of those magical places. From the second you set foot on campus, you just feel it. Every football Saturday, every Thursday night out, every candle lit at the Grotto, every Sunday night spent in the library… every single moment was special and awesome. But the most amazing part of Notre Dame are the people there. The friends that I made- they were and still are the best part of my Notre Dame experience.”

We have college graduates from all over the country at American Eagle and want to showcase their style and love for their Alma Mater. Each week we will be featuring an AE employee modeling their favorite pieces from the AE Vintage Collegiate Collection. This week we have Catherine G., Web Designer, and a graduate of Ohio University, sporting the Ohio University Vintage T. She shared one of her favorite memories with us from her college days.

“I worked in Student Programming at OU and one year I was asked to work a Hilary Clinton convention when she visited for the 2008 primaries. Little did I know the reward I got for working that event was getting to meet Michelle Obama the same afternoon when she came to town. I cried. It was amazing. I also enjoyed hanging out at a hole in the wall bar called Tony’s with my best friends. It was sort of like a old dark log cabin inside. Amazing in the winter!”

“Mountaineer Football is a way of life when you go to West Virginia University. My first football game as a Freshman was so much fun and tailgating in ‘The Pit’ was quite an experience. Over my four years at WVU, the times I spent at the stadium were among the best memories of college. Nothing else can come close to when the Mountaineers win: You put your arms around the person next to you and belt out John Denver’s ‘Country Roads’ with 60,000 other Mountain Mamas and Mountaineer football fanatics. Country roads take me home!”
