Every week on American Eagle’s Facebook page we feature a Game of the Week showcasing the week’s key match up. This week’s game of the week will feature a Big 10 match up sure to entertain. Everyone at AE is giving their opinion on the game, so we asked a few employees who they thought would win.

This week’s picks are made by:

Dave: Assistant Buyer of Licensed Apparel – Die hard Buckeyes fan. Can be seen around the office singing “Hang on Sloopy” and talking about the Big 10.

Monique: Web Assistant Buyer of Women’s Woven’s – Die hard LSU fan. Can be seen around the office wearing purple and talking about Mardi Gras.

Mike: Web Assistant Buyer of Men’s Accessories and Footwear- Villanova grad who can be seen around the office talking about how the Wildcat’s will make it to the final four this year.

The Game:
This game doesn’t have quite the implications of last week’s, but is still a high stakes match up with each team going into the game with a do or die mentality. With win’s this week and next week, as well as some other losses in the Big 10, both teams are pulling for what looks to be a Big 10 Championship and possibly a BCS at large bid.

Nebraska’s first year in the Big 10 has been one of highs and lows. From their comeback against Ohio State to losing one of their top defensive players, this season has definitely had its ups and its downs. With a win this week (and next), as well as a Michigan State loss, Nebraska may finish it’s interesting first chapter in the Big 10 on a high note with a trip to the Big 10 Championship and potentially a BCS bowl bid.

Michigan is 8-2 right now and has high hopes for a BCS at large bid. For this to become a reality they must beat Nebraska this week and then Ohio State next week at home. This will be a challenge when going up against a team very much like themselves. Both teams have punishing defenses and will need a successful rushing attack to win the ballgame. In their first match up since 2005 both teams are hoping to pull out a big victory, and possibly land a spot in a BCS bowl game. Will Nebraska’s defense be able to hold the relentless Michigan rushing attack when it counts or will Michigan feed off of the home crowd in Ann Arbor to pull out a big victory and a potential BCS bid?

The Picks:

Dave: How could I possibly root for Michigan? The corn-fed Nebraska defense is definitely going to shut down Michigan’s rushing attack this week. Go Huskers!

Monique: Nebraska’s rushing offense is going to rush straight to a victory! Go Huskers!

Mike: Let’s go Wolverines! We’ve got a strong run offense against a weak run defense. Fitzgerald Toussaint is a name the cornhuskers aren’t going to forget!

Every week on American Eagle’s Facebook page we feature a Game of the Week showcasing the week’s key match up. This week’s game of the week will feature two high powered offenses and will surely be more entertaining than last week’s “Game of the Century” between Alabama and LSU.

Dilinus: Associate Buyer of Men’s Underwear and Dorm – Pitt Grad and fan. Can be seen around the office singing Sweet Caroline (GO P-I-T-T).

The Game:
This game could be one of the most entertaining of the year. This will be an offensive battle as this week’s competitors have averaged over 80 points in their last four meetings. With Heisman Candidate Andrew Luck, arguably both the best quarterback and best player in college football, under center the Duck’s defense will be in for a challenge. Luck is accompanied by a strong rushing attack as well as an impressive tight end corps that will surely keep Oregon’s line and linebackers on their toes.

While Stanford’s offense is highly impressive Oregon’s isn’t too shabby either. Led by quarterback Darron Thomas the Ducks have both a passing and rushing threat. Thomas is accompanied by a speedy and elusive rushing attack featuring: LaMichael James, Kenjon Barner and De’Anthony Thomas. Oregon’s offense could prove to be a nightmare for Stanford’s linebackers if they don’t control the space between the hashes.

With these two high octane offenses squaring up this battle surely won’t be one to disappoint. Will Heisman Candidate Andrew Luck continue his path to a storybook season and potentially and National Championship or will Oregon’s triple threat in the backfield help the Ducks clinch a spot in the PAC-12 Championship?

The Picks:

Dave: I smell an upset this week! Oregon’s triple threat in the backfield is going to give Stanford’s defense headaches all day long. GO DUCKS!

Monique: Oregon’s always exciting uniforms are going to Amp up their offense to a victory. Expect the Ducks to take the Luck right out of Stanford this week!

Dilinus: Stanford all the way! Those ducks don’t have a chance against one of the best QB’s west of the Mississippi!

The AE Vintage Campus Collection Presents the Game of the Week: #1 LSU vs. #2 Alabama

Every week on American Eagle’s Facebook page we feature a Game of the Week between two rival schools. This game could be considered the Game of the Year because #1 LSU is going against fellow SEC rival #2 Alabama. Only one of these schools will remain undefeated and continue on to the BSC National Championship. Everyone at AE is giving their opinion on the game, so we asked a few employees who they thought would win.

This week’s picks are made by:

Dilinus – Associate Buyer of Men’s Underwear and Dorm – Pitt Grad and fan. Can be seen around the office singing Sweet Caroline (GO P-I-T-T).

Monique – Web Assistant Buyer of Women’s Wovens – Die hard LSU fan. Can be seen around the office wearing purple and talking about Mardi Gras.

Jon – Web Associate Buyer of Licensed Apparel – Cincinnati Grad and fan. Can be seen around the office arguing with the local Pitt fans about the other big game this weekend (Cincy vs. Pitt)

The Game:

This game could end up being the game of the year. The rivalry started back in 1897 and has been an epic battle ever since. In 2007, after the hiring of Alabama coach Nick Saban this match-up was dubbed the Saban Bowl.

Both teams come into this year’s contest undefeated in a match-up featuring two of the fiercest, most intimidating defenses in the country. This will be a big test for Alabama’s young quarterback, but he will have plenty of weapons in his arsenal. Who will come away with the win in Tuscaloosa and continue their march to the National Championship game?

Dilinus, Monique and Jon wear their team’s shirt from our Vintage Campus Collection

The Picks:

Dilinus: “Have you ever seen a herd of elephants charging? A tiger never stood a chance! Roll Tide!”

Monique: “This is the game of the year! LSU’s explosive defense and solid two quarterback system will dominate on the road against Alabama’s young quarterback. Geaux Tigers!”

Jon: “This is going to be a tough fight, but you can’t pick against Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Bryant-Denny Stadium is going to be rocking! Roll Tide.”

Which team will reign supreme? Will it be LSU or Alabama?
