Meet Classixx, a DJ/Producer Duo from Los Angeles who we worked with for our Spring Break 2013 playlist (which you can listen to on Spotify). Classixx even came to our Spring Break pool party in Palm Springs to play us some of the tracks off their debut album, “Hanging Gardens”. Classixx was an obvious choice for us to work with for Spring Break since we are all about The Remix – Remixing your wardrobe, your style, and of course, your Spring Break playlist!

All of our videos this season feature music from Classixx’s “Hanging Gardens” and their just-released single, “Holding On”, is one of our favorites. “Holding On” is currently available for sale on iTunes, so check it out to get ready for their full-length album which will be released May 14th. We can’t wait to buy it after hearing it during the Spring Break photo shoot.

Download the American Eagle Outfitters exclusive “Penny” remix from the upcoming Hanni El Khatib album, “Head in the Dirt” which we are big fans of and have on repeat at the AEO offices along with his current album “Will The Gun Come Out”. The remix of “Penny” gives the song a great new spin and that Classixx vibe.
