SCA: We Donate, You Decide

February 8, 2013
we-the-ae

As the presenting sponsor of the Student Conservation Association’s Alternative Spring Break (ASB) program, American Eagle Outfitters empowers college students from all over the country to take action to conserve our environment. In spectacular locations like the Grand Canyon National Park, adventure-seeking volunteers make a difference while making memories that last a lifetime. Each year, some 60 college-aged students perform a range of projects from removing invasive species to repairing and building new trails. Through AE Better World, American Eagle Outfitters’ year-round philanthropy program, the SCA also conducts recruiting activities on nearly 150 college campuses and in high schools nationwide.

This year, we are letting our fans decide where we should sponsor a week long project.  Click the photo above to choose which national park will benefit from the next collaborative AE-SCA project. The winning national park will benefit from a crew of 12 college students working for one week during the summer to help improve the park. You can also apply to participate in that crew and earn an all-expenses-paid, week-long volunteer trip to the selected park! Vote from the follow three national parks:

  • Yosemite National Park (CA), which was central to the idea of creating a national park system and is visited by nearly 4 million people each year.
