confidence booster!
I felt absolutely compelled to write my first AE review after trying on this dress. I have between a pear and hourglass shape, but this dress definitely makes me look like an hourglass. The flattering, curve-hugging fit and relatively conservative neckline/length are just a great combination for a sexy yet classy look. I agree with other reviewers that the straps are a little long, but it's a very simple alteration to make. I got my usual size (medium) and it fits perfectly. I wouldn't recommend going up a size unless you are in between sizes; it's meant to fit closely to the body.

favorite LBD!
I own several LBDs and this has got to be my favorite one now. The small fits me perfectly -- it shows off your curves and makes you feel like a million bucks. I am 5'2" and it hits mid thigh on me so it'll probably be short for someone taller. I think this dress will be a staple in my closet and a classic piece that will never go out of style.

Awesome dress!
I had actually missed out on this dress the first time around and I was super bummed. Thank god they brought it back! I ordered this dress in blue, and while I've heard complaints that the blue isn't as pretty as the picture, my dress is dead on in color. I am VERY petite - about 4'11" and 85 lbs and relatively flat chested, so I ordered the XXS after reading that people were having issues with the straps. The dress is very comfortable, it hugs your body without suffocating you. Being relatively flat all around, this dress is very flattering, accentuating the curves I DO have. I would totally order this dress in black too!

Love!
I absolutely love the fit of this dress, I'm 5'8" and curvy, with a D bust and the sizing on ae dresses can be hit or miss for me. I decided to risk it and get an 8 and it fits me like it was made for me! It accentuates all of the good things about my figure, without being too sexy. The top does show some cleavage but the skirt ends right above my knee so its not showing a ton of skin on both ends. It feels amazing on and looks incredible! My only complaint is that I am going to have to take the shoulder straps up just a bit because they are a little long. Maybe even washing it and drying it will shrink them just enough!
