Smelly
The fit of these jeans is extremely tight. The rise is slightly higher on the hip. The length id short and the leg opening is pretty wide for a "Skinny" fit- I would say it is more comparable to a straight fit jean. The biggest problem I have with these jeans is the same issue I had with 95% of the 2011 AE jeans-and that is THAT THEY SMELL LIKE MOTHBALLS! The smell is overpowering and gets stronger as you wear them...I vote against this style and returned the ones I purchased. Disappointed.

Great, once I got the right size
These jeans are great once I got the right size. I usually wear a size 2 in AE pants and jeans, but when I got these in the mail in a size 2 they were huge! I went to the store to exchange them and ended up having to get a 00 in this color. Even the salesperson told me the dark color runs big. I tried on the 0 and it fit better than the 2, with some room to spare. The 00 fits perfect and the salesperson recommended I go with the tightest fit possibe as the jeans will stretch throughout the day. They're not that soft, but they're a nice skinny jean for the price. The 4 stars is because of the inconsistent sizing. I love AE jeans and I like to be able to order them online knowing that they will fit properly the first time.

Great!
I have to say, I love these jeans so much. They're really comfortable, soft, and flattering. I am 5'8 and a size 6 regular. I recommend going with a size that is JUST right (or a bit tight) when you first try them on because these will stretch after wear. Fading at the knees does occur after a few wears, but it adds to the worn, casual look. I think these are a little less durable because of the stretchy material, but the comfort makes it worth it!
