Material description is inaccurate
I had a pair of these jeans when they had 1% Spandex, and I LOVED them. I've been waiting and hoping they'd go back to 1% Spandex, and bought two pairs when I thought AE had switched but the jeans that I received in the mail were with 2% Spandex so I returned them.

What happened!
These have been my favorite jeans for almost 5 years, but when i went to purchase a replacement pair (cus i got holes in my old pair because i wore them so much) i found that they have a new material that isn't the same as the old ones and their sizing is completely different. i wish they would go back to the old way these were made, very disappointing! looks like i need to find a new favorite pair of jeans...

Not quite what they used to be...
AE's straight jeans have been my favorite for a while now, I bought two pairs earlier this year and found the fit and stretch to be perfect. I just ordered a new pair and had to return them for a larger size even though my others still fit just fine. The new material is stiffer and doesn't stretch as well, so by the end of the day they're baggy and overall just not as comfortable to wear. Still great jeans, just not quite as comfortable and wearable.

love love LOVE
I absolutely LOVE these jeans. I am 5'6 and 135 lbs, and my thighs and calfs are not exactly skinny jean friendly. ive been debating on getting these for about a year and im so glad that i finally did. they fit PERFECTLY and i should've gotten them a long time ago. i would highly recommend getting these jeans if you think that skinny jeans are just a bit too snug in the legs.
