Not at all what I expected
Once I got these jeans in the mail, I wanted to try them on immediately!!! I was so excited. I wear a 14 R in all my jeans from AE and this one fit EXTREMELY tight. I couldn't bring it up past my thighs! I was extremely disappointed. Plus, it didn't even have the hole in the jeans like it does in the picture! I returned it the next day.

I guess not.
Well, I saw the other reviews and was hoping the distressing in the knee would be there, but it wasn't. The distressing at the top areas is correct, but in the knee, forget about it. It's not that big of a deal, I just don't understand why the picture shows something different than what the product is. That's just disappointing. On the other hand, they're definitely not tight like others say. I usually wear a size 4. I'm 5'6 and a half inches and weigh like 120 pounds. I should have gotten the 2 since I don't like wearing belts too much. Also, the fit through the legs is loose. I'm just disappointed now that all the 2's are gone and these are cheap. Debating whether I'll keep them or not. So I guess it really depends on what kind of style you like. I'd rather have the fit through the thighs and legs to be tighter, but did not find that with these jeans.

no hole in knee but still very cute!
I saw on others reviews that these didn't have a hole in the knee, but i think i actually like them better this way. Also they don't feel spandexy but they feel like good fitting jeans. I'm 5'7 and wear a 4...little snug but i like my jeans that way. And you could even wear them as skinny jeans if you wanted to. Love them :)

not happy
I saw these in the store today, and they are adorable. They all had distressing, but not all in the same place. They say they are 1% spandex, and the label says they are stretch, but they didn't feel like they had any spandex at all, and as is the case any more with ae products, the ran very small. Every single pair of ae shorts and pants I own are 2's, and they fit fine to large, but everything in the stores since spring (except some of the colored pants and the patterned shorts) run way too small. Sad...
