HOW TO MEASURE
Arm
With your arm relaxed, place your hand on your hip with your elbow at a 90-degree angle. Using a measuring tape, start at the middle of the back of your neck and measure over your sholder, down your arm to your waist.
Chest
Using a measuring tape, measure around your chest just under your arms.
Neck
Using a measuring tape, measure around the base of your neck.

I've never had an issue with these V-necks until I got this white one. It fits so much tighter than the others I have and it's rather uncomfortable, even with just using them to wear under other shirts. If you don't want it to be tight, I'd recommend just getting a size bigger in it than you normally would. I mean, if it's suppose to be a tight fit then there shouldn't be a "slim fit" one, too.

Soft and perfect fit
I really have issues finding specific V necks but this right here hit the spot, is a great athletic fit ,soft and excellent quality.
