Not the old Favorite Boyfriend jeans...
If you've never had the old ones then these might seem okay, but the old Favorite Boyfriend jeans are my favorites. I got 3 pairs around a year ago and I live in them! The old ones are more straight and subtle at the bottom, these new ones are tight and then flare at the bottom. They are just like the artist jeans. BRING BACK THE OLD FAVORITE BOYFRIENDS!

The knees in these pants were huge! They made me look very big, which I am not. Definitely not flattering, just too big from the knee down.

<3 favorite boyfriend jeans!
I have relied on artist jeans for several years. But let me tell you, if you are a short girl like me (5'1') you will LOVE these! The rise overall fits perfectly, way better than the artist jeans (which come up to my belly button!) ALSO with artist jeans, regulars are a bit too long and shorts are too short. The length of these are PERFECT.. of course now, if you are taller they will seem short - so maybe get the longer size. I think the leg opening could be about an inch smaller and it would be perfect. ALSO i would like to add these are SUPER stretchy and baggier fit in the legs so i would go down a size. I'm normally a size 4 in AE jeans and the size 2 in these were PERFECT!!! love love loveeee!

NOT WHAT I THOUGHT :(
I had bought a several pairs of the Favorite Boyfriend jeans last year, so I decided to buy another pair. And I am disappointed. These jeans are way too big. They are big in the waist, hips, pant leg width, and leg opening! Also, the color of the jean in person are much lighter compared to the picture online. The material is also much thinner compared to last years jeans. I am very disappointed in these jeans, but I still love AE.
