So glad I got my jeans back!
For a while there I was beginning to loose hope in american eagle jeans. They just seemed to not be fitting me right, so I gave it about a year and decided to order these again in a 14 long and they fit perfectly on my 5'7'' frame! The stretch in these is just the right amount, unlike the previous reviews I have read that say they stretch out too much.. I haven't had that problem yet! They are true to fit and and I feel great in them!

Try them on first! Sizing is crazy!
I tried these on and also the darkest wash with the stretch. And, as usual, I am thankful I have an AE a mile from my house, because it is waaay to difficult to predict your sizing in AE jeans, even within the same fit! Be warned that every color, even in the same cut of jean, fits differently! I have jeans from AE that range from a 12 to an 18! I love the dark wash stretch original boot, and so I tried on these in my usual size, 14R, and they wouldn't go past the top of my thighs! So, if you are used to the new super strech fabric, these run probably a size smaller! Needless to say, I left with the darker wash...which I think is much more flattering anyway!

Love these!!
I just got these jeans today, I love the color and how comfortable they are. I love AE jeans but wish there were more options with the mid rise. Its hard to find a pair that is mid rise that aren't "mom jeans." I hope you don't stop making these original boot jeans they are my new favorite.
