How to earn points
Earn 1 Point for every dollar you spend in-store or online at AE, AEO Factory Store or Aerie.
- For shopping in AE, AEO Factory Store or Aerie stores, you'll earn Points when you make a purchase and present your AEREWARDS card.
- For shopping online at ae.com, aeofactorystore.com or aerie.com, you'll earn Points when you enter your AEREWARDS card number during checkout.
- For shopping over the phone, you'll earn Points by providing your AEREWARDS card number to the representative when placing your order.
Points will be applied to your ae.com purchases when the order is shipped. Membership is limited to residents of the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico who are 13 years of age and older. Points are not earned when purchasing Gift Cards or charitable items. However, if you shop with a Gift Card, you'll earn Points for the stuff you buy. Points will be removed from your account for returned items.
You earn Points during an earning period. At the end of each 3-month earning period, we will automatically send you a Reward for each brand you shopped based on the number of Points you've earned. Any additional Points remaining at the end of the earning period expire and your balance will be reset to zero. The earning periods are listed below:
January 1 - March 31
April 1 - June 30
July 1 - September 30
October 1 - December 31
If you forgot your card for a purchase, be sure you've requested the Points by the end of the earning period so that you get the Reward you deserve. As long as you have a valid receipt from the current earning period, you can earn Points for any eligible purchase. Just visit the Get Points page in your online account to enter your receipt information or, you can call AEREWARDS Customer Service at 1-800-340-0532.
Viewing and managing points
Simply register online at ae.com, aeofactorystore.com and aerie.com and you'll have instant access to all your account information. Once you register you'll be able to see:
- Account Activity
- Previous Statements
- Personal Profile Information
- Other Program Details
It can take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours for your purchases to be posted to the site. Catalog and Web purchases are posted 24 to 48 hours after the ship day. If your purchase hasn't posted after 72 hours, call AEREWARDS Customer Service at 1-800-340-0532. It's always a good idea to save your receipt until your purchase has posted. If a purchase is missing, you'll need the receipt to provide purchase information. Be sure all Points are entered by the end of the current earning period.
