Merchandise sold exclusively at ae.com, aeofactorystore.com and aerie.com can be returned or exchanged to the following address:

We recommend that all returns and exchanges be sent via a traceable carrier such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL. American Eagle Outfitters is not responsible for packages not received if sent via a non-traceable carrier. Returns and exchanges must be returned prepaid; we cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.

Merchandise sold exclusively at ae.com, aeofactorystore.com and aerie.com can be returned, but not exchanged at any AE, AEO Factory Store and/or Aerie store. To return your online purchase(s) please take the packing slip included with your order and the credit card used for the original purchase. The packing slip will serve as your receipt. If you don't have your packing slip, you'll be credited the current price of the item and issued an AE Gift Card for the amount. If PayPal was used for the original purchase, an AE Gift Card will be issued. Shipping is not refunded.
