Hi, Rachel! Thanks for joining us today. Can you tell us a bit more about your position here at Aerie<\/a>? What are the daily responsibilities of a Merchant?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We assort the lines that are in the stores each season. Merchants strategize the business needs and relay them to our design team, who comes up with an awesome line that we cost out with production. Then we work with planning to get the financials behind it, order from the vendors and voila! The tees<\/a> are in stores and ready to buy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting from when you wake up in the morning, what\u2019s an average morning like for you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Snooze! At least 8 times. Quick, super-hot shower. Hair, makeup, debate if it’s a lipstick day or not, get dressed, pour coffee to-go and I’m out the door in 30ish minutes. In a perfect world I would get up and drink coffee while watching GMA, but I’ve had to face the facts that I’m not a morning person and when it comes down to it, I’d rather be snoozing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s your favorite item in our fall collection?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I LOVE the super soft ribbed turtleneck<\/a>. I bought it in 2 colors and wear them every chance I get!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Holiday Flannel Button Down. It’s versatile, so you can match it back to PJs<\/a> for a traditional holiday sleep look, or wear it out with jeans for a festive fall\/winter look. The plaids are great too! Very wearable and easy to outfit and the fabric is super soft. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
