It has been a process, but after four years, I am confident in my scars and my body, knowing that they are a part of what has made me who I am. My body now reflects my story, which is beautiful because it’s bigger than the shallow external; it’s a tool to bring hope and encouragement to others!\n\nWhat\u2019s your advice to girls to find their inner strength and confidence?\u00a0<\/strong>\n\nAfter my physical appearance shifted drastically, I realized quickly that the worth I put in outward beauty did not sustain. As those around me still saw me as beautiful when I didn’t feel like I matched that adjective, it proved that beauty is truly internal.\n\nWow! That’s really amazing and inspiring. Thank you\u00a0so much\u00a0for sharing.<\/strong>\n\n Now onto\u00a0a holiday note: <\/strong>we can’t wait to spend time with friends and family.
