I\u2019m definitely a lover. You would never see me fighting anyone! I\u2019m very strong with my opinions, so I fight for what I think is right, but it\u2019s all out of love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are you currently listening to?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Future, always. Older hip hop\/R&B too, and I love Brazilian music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Breakfast in bed or dinner out?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If anyone knows me, they know that I don\u2019t really leave my bed when I\u2019m home. So definitely breakfast in bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Favorite thing about spring?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I just love the weather. Sometimes it gets a little too hot in New York\u2014a lot too hot! But spring is the perfect time. It\u2019s nice and breezy, sunny, flowers are out, trees are kickin\u2019 in. Love it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What makes you really laugh?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My two best friends. They\u2019re crazy! They need a reality show.

How did you feel when you found out you wouldn\u2019t be retouched?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not being retouched in the images is something that is very important to me. People knowing that\u2019s how I look like without any Photoshop, without anyone\u2019s perception of what my body needs to look like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the world of modeling, how do you see yourself?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I see myself as almost an oddball in a lot of situations. It\u2019s either I\u2019m too small or too big for a lot of things, and when people are happy with me because I\u2019m not changing for anyone, it\u2019s really empowering. When I started doing \u201cplus-size modeling,\u201d I got put into a bit of a box. People like to change my body with padding in my boobs or in my body even. It\u2019s different and a weird thing to see yourself not look like you, especially when you are so used to seeing things that are so raw and real. It\u2019s really refreshing to see it happening again. I\u2019m very excited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What body positive message do you want to share with other girls?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Numbers don\u2019t mean anything. There isn\u2019t just one beauty that is allowed to wear a certain outfit, or allowed to model something, or allowed to be beautiful. You don\u2019t have to have a six-pack to wear a swimsuit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s one thing the world needs more of?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Women who are so strong that they don\u2019t care about what other people think of them. I think every girl has potential to do that, it\u2019s just society makes it really hard.<\/p>\n\n\n
