This season, our design team traveled to (& was SO inspired by) Morocco\u2014everything from the colors to the clothes<\/a> to the food. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To bring a taste of Morocco home, try this recipe for a Moroccan-inspired mint tea. It\u2019s an easier version of a traditional Moroccan specialty. Try it first if you can\u2019t find your way to the real deal!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"How<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

WHAT YOU NEED:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • 1 tbs. Chinese gunpowder green tea<\/li>
  • 5 cups boiling water<\/li>
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons sugar, or to taste<\/li>
  • 1 large bundle of fresh mint<\/li>
  • 1 teapot<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
    \"How<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    WHAT TO DO:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Put Chinese gunpowder tea in tea pot and pour in 1 cup boiling water.<\/li>
    2. Swirl gently to “rinse tea” <\/li>
    3. Strain and discard the water, keeping the tea leaves in the tea pot.<\/li>
    4. Add remaining 4 cups of boiling water to the tea.<\/li>
    5. Let the tea steep for 2 minutes<\/li>
    6. Add in sugar to taste and swirl again to mix.<\/li>
    7. Add mint leaves to the tea pot and steep for 4 more minutes.<\/li>
    8. Serve into heatproof glasses.<\/li>
    9. Garnish with more mint leaves.<\/li>
