HERproject is a women\u2019s empowerment workplace program\nfocused on women worker\u2019s health needs, financial inclusion and gender\nequality. HERproject operates in 9 countries, and its mission is to unlock the\nfull potential of women working in global supply chains. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Aerie and AE, we have been proud to partner with\nHERproject since 2013. Women make up more than 80% of the workers who run and\noperate 300+ factories in 20+ countries around the world to make Aerie and\nAmerican Eagle products, and it\u2019s especially important to us to show our\nsupport for and help to empower these workers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Aerie and AE participate in each of the 3 pillars of\nHERproject programs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • HERhealth at 15 factories in Vietnam, Indonesia,\nCambodia and Bangladesh: Increasing the ability of low-income women to take\ncharge of their health<\/li>
    • HERfinance at 5 factories in Bangladesh:\nExpanding financial inclusion of low-income workers in global supply chains<\/li>
    • HERrespect at 5 factories in India: Building\ngender-equitable workplaces <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      By partnering with HERproject, we\u2019ve helped to train more\nthan 31,000 women and 10,000 men (who are included in HERfinanace and\nHERrespect programs) so far.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n
