This World Kindness Day, the Aerie Real Foundation<\/a> and the AE Foundation<\/a> are donating $200,000 to Delivering Good<\/a>!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delivering Good<\/strong><\/a> provides people impacted by hardship with new clothing & other items through a national network of community partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, Delivering Good will use the Aerie Real Foundation and the AE Foundation donation to help thousands of people by distributing over $2M worth of merchandise to over 30K people in need.<\/strong> Plus, Aerie & AE have donated over 1.2M new products to Delivering Good<\/strong> this year! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can you tell us about what Delivering Good does & how it works?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delivering Good unites retailers, manufacturers, foundations, and individuals to provide people impacted by poverty and tragedy with new merchandise, effectively distributed through a network of community partners to offer hope, dignity and self-esteem to at-risk children, families, and individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What will you use the donation for?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This grant will be used for a continuation of the program the Aerie Real Foundation and American Eagle have supported for the past year: a year-long effort to distribute brand-new clothing and essential goods to girls and young women living in poverty nationwide. Over the past 12 months, we have already seen the enormous impact and personal, transformative effect this program has had on the individuals reached through our work. Now, with your help, we have the opportunity to continue and expand this aid, changing tens of thousands of more lives in the year ahead, and showing once more how the Aerie Real Foundation and AE have the power to make the world better for women and for all of us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delivering Good\u2019s solution to the crisis of need and poverty is simple but transformative. By mobilizing the donations of manufacturers and retailers across a wide range of apparel, home, and children\u2019s goods companies, our organization is able to provide high-quality clothing and material items to low-income recipients at a ratio of $10 worth of products for every $1 granted to our program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This partnership provides an opportunity for us to help make our society a better and more hopeful place, where underprivileged teens and women are able to feel security and support, and live out their full potential, regardless of circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
