You can always return online purchases by mail, or make a return or exchange at any open AE or Aerie store. Find a Store
 
We will continue to provide refunds on online orders that are returned by mail. Please note that you may experience some delays with online return & refund processing, as we’re taking extra care in our distribution centers. Start a Return
 
We are unable to process refunds or exchanges by mail for purchases that were made at stores.
 
You can wait to return your items to your local store when it re-opens – there is no time limit to provide a full refund, charge back to a credit card, make an exchange, or issue an AE Gift Card.
 
If you're not completely happy with a purchase, just return it with your receipt for a full refund.  Returns with a receipt will be refunded in the manner in which the original purchase was made.  If you don't have a receipt, we'll let you exchange or give you store credit for the current price.
 
If you are charged more than the posted or advertised price, we will refund the difference.  If there appears to be fraud or abuse, we may not return your item.
 
 
2 EASY WAYS TO RETURN
 
1) Return to a Store (It’s Free!)
 
Whether you bought your items online, by phone, or in any of our stores, you can return or exchange them at any AE, Aerie, or AE Factory store in Canada. To find the store nearest you, please use our store locator or call us at 1 (855) 468-4333.
 
Bring your order confirmation email/invoice (on your mobile device or printed) and the credit card used for the original purchase.
 
If you do not have your order information, you will be credited the current price of the item in the form of a gift card. Please bring a government-issued form of identification (i.e. a driver’s license or other government issued ID). Shipping is not refundable.
 
2) Ship Your Items Back
 
If you received items by mail, it's easy to send them back!
Put the items you're returning in the original package if possible.
For returns:
Print your order details from the Order History page, circle the items you’re returning,
and indicate the reason for return.
If you can’t print your order details, write out the following information on a sheet of paper:
       • Your order number
       • The item number for each return
       • The reason for return
 
For exchanges:
Find your order details from the Order History page and click the "Get A Return Label" link to get started.
If you can’t print the return label and form, write out the following information on a sheet of paper:
       • Your order number
       • The item number for each return
       • The item number, color, size, and price for each desired exchange
Exchange requests cannot be processed for orders paid with PayPal, cash, or gift cards.
 
Once your package is ready, choose a mail carrier, pay for postage, and send it the address below.

If you suspect fraudulent activity on your account and/or have concerns about a call you receive from someone claiming to be from AEO regarding your purchase/return, do not provide them with any information, hang up, and contact Customer Service at Contact Us. If AEO contacts you about a return we will not disclose order or personal information in advance, ask you to install software, or ask you to give us bank account information to process a return, but we may ask for certain information to confirm your identity.
