While we are working to offer a localized shopping experience, our payment processors do not support these payment options yet. However, if you prefer to shop with Discover, PayPal, JCP, or an American Eagle Gift Card as a payment method, you can use these options on the AE + Aerie Mobile App.
AEO gift cards can be used in stores, and they are still an accepted method of payment on the AE + Aerie Mobile App.
If you return web-purchased merchandise that was paid for by an AEO gift card, a new gift card will be mailed to you for the amount owed. If you used a combination of a credit card and gift card as a payment method, we will refund the amount paid by credit card first. If the returned merchandise value exceeds the amount paid by credit card, you will then receive a refund gift card by mail for the remaining value.
While we are working on offering a completely localized experience, our mobile app is still in the works! We are excited to launch a Mexico App in 2021 along with enhancements to our AE.com website!
Due to our recent website enhancements that allow us to offer a shopping experience in pesos, orders placed after November 5, 2020 will qualify for electronic invoices. Prices paid are inclusive of VAT. Edicom folio and PIN will be available once your purchased merchandise has been shipped. Please note that gift card purchases are not eligible for Edicom reimbursement.
A standard 16% IVA rate is applied to all merchandise and shipping costs. Merchandise prices shown on AE.com are inclusive of the IVA rate so there are no surprises at checkout!
If you received items by mail, it's easy to send them back!
- Put the items you're returning in the original package if possible.
- Log into your AE.com account and select your order to view the Order Details page. You can also access the Order Details page by typing in your order number and email address on our Track Order page.
- Click on the link to start your return and then follow the instructions on how to mail your items back to us!
