Our painted eggs are inspired by La Habana and the colors of Cuba! All you need is food coloring and paint markers, then don’t be afraid to go beyond the pattern and create your own designs. Every egg is beautiful!
WHAT YOU NEED:
White or brown eggs
Food coloring or egg dye
Paint markers
STEP 1:
Start out with a plain egg, brown or white, whichever best matches the background of the pattern you’re replicating. *If your background is heavily colored, use food color or dye to match it.
STEP 2:
Starting from the middle and working your way out, recreate the center design and the most basic shapes in the pattern.
STEP 3:
Continue working outward. Fill in the more intricate details and designs, alternating colors as needed.
STEP 4:
Add any finishing touches or fix any mistakes, then let those babies dry!
