Jamie Holt
Jamie Holt has always loved being active, especially in high school when she participated in wheelchair basketball, cheerleading and track and field. Since joining Special Olympics Texas team, when she doesn’t have a basketball in hand, you can find her in the pool, walking her dog or enjoying her favorite foods (Mexican and ice cream) on the River Walk.
Through it all, Jamie says what inspires her most is her relationship to God, along with Rec Therapy and her favorite music, KPOP. “Better together” to Jamie means friendship and meeting her own goals. “It would mean being included in the community and not being labeled,” she says.
