Off the court, Special Olympics athlete Kristen Short soaks up her spare time mainly with friends and family. “I love to work and I love to spend time with my nieces and nephews,” says Kristen, “I love San Antonio because I have all my friends and family here.”
Kristen says she loves to stay positive wherever she is. Whether on or off the court, her smile stays with her to keep her going.
“Better together means being surrounded by the strength from those that you love. It means being with friends and family and making each other happy.”
