My Time at The Miami Happy Spot
We came, sang, danced, and celebrated Spring Break in Miami the only way we know how – in style. My name is Jayla Akers, and I’m an associate brand manager for Aerie.
If you couldn’t join us for our Happy Spot event at the Goodtime Hotel in Miami this past week, don’t worry because I have you covered. From live performances to TikTok challenges and personalization stations, I’m giving the deets on how I found happiness everywhere at the Happy Spot in Miami.
OUTFITTING
We all know the saying, “When you look good, you feel good,” right? Well, the Aerie fam definitely felt amazing on that sunny Wednesday because everyone looked their best in their Aerie pool to party spring looks. The rooftop was buzzing with style, from the cutest Aerie cover-ups and sunnies to the matching sets and swim.
For me, I left the event feeling confident and excited about refreshing my wardrobe for a new season. Pass me the high-waisted ruffle shorts in every color, please!

ACTIVITIES
Bring on the FUN! Playful laughter filled the air for hours as we all made the best of every moment. Whether you were competing in a game of Jenga or miniature golf, swinging with your bestie in front of the cutest smiley face, or dancing it out for our hashtag challenge – it was easy to find your HAPPY moment.
Second, to our special performance, our Happy sign took center stage, standing proud and colorful. While it was the perfect photo opp – it doubled as an inspiring reminder of our brand purpose as our fam left their mark with positive affirmations and messages.
LIVE PERFORMANCE
The sun set and Kelsea Ballerini took the stage. Wearing the “Spring Fling” dress in white, Kelsea performed her exclusive Aerie song with her band. The moment was magical as everyone danced and cheered her on.
