100% Happiness Promise Return Policy

Get what you want, and return what you don’t. If you're not completely happy with a purchase, it can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of the purchase date, or returned for merchandise credit within 60 days. Purchased your items online? We’ll give you an additional 7 days to make your return.

Whether you bought your items online or in any of our stores, you can return or exchange them at any AE, Aerie, Offline, or AE Factory store. It’s fast and free!

Choose how to get your refund:

  • Exchange your item(s) for any item(s) of equal or lesser value. If you don't have proof of purchase, you can exchange your item(s) for a different size.

  • Merchandise credit in the form of an AEO gift card. In-store returns for online orders purchased with OXXO, Aplazo, or gift cards will be refunded in the form of a gift card.

  • A full refund to the original form of payment used for the purchase. Proof of purchase is required, such as a receipt, invoice, order history page, or order email.

  1. Inicia sesión para administrar tu cuenta.

  2. Ve a tus pedidos.

  3. Selecciona el pedido en cuestión.

  4. Choose “return by mail”

  5. Print a copy of your Order Details page and circle the item(s) you are returning.

  6. Next to each item you are returning, write the letter related to your return reason code (see below):

    • B - Demasiado grande

    • S - Demasiado pequeño

    • D - Defectuoso

    • J - No me gustó

    • F - La tela no es lo que esperaba

    • G - Devolución de un regalo

    • I - El artículo se dañó durante el envío

    • L - Se entregó más tarde de lo que esperaba

    • W - Se entregó el artículo equivocado

    • OR - Otros

  7. If your order qualifies for a free return, use the label provided in your package. If it did not qualify for a free return, you will pay the cost of the return.

Choose how to get your refund. Please note that shipping costs are nonrefundable.

  • A full refund to the original form of payment used for the purchase, available 5-7 days after we receive your return, depending on your financial institution.
