Canadian return policy
We want you to be totally satisfied with your purchase. However, if there are any issues with your purchase we'd be happy to help fix the problem. If you are not satisfied you can return your purchase for a refund, but we may refuse or delay returns if fraud or abuse is suspected.
To return ae.com, aeofactorystore.com and/or aerie.com merchandise by mail, detach the right side of the invoice that came with your order and indicate the item(s) you are returning and the reason for your return. Keep the top of the invoice for your records. Be sure to include the completed bottom of the invoice as you pack your return securely in the original package if possible. Attach the shipping label provided on the invoice or mail the package to:

You will need to pay the nonrefundable shipping costs for your return when you mail your package. Returns sent from rural Canadian addresses may take up to five weeks to process after the package is mailed.

By ordering goods from American Eagle Outfitters, I hereby authorize Russell A. Farrow, chosen by American Eagle Outfitters to act as my agent, and to transact business with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) to clear my merchandise, account for duties and taxes, to return merchandise to American Eagle Outfitters and prepare and submit refund claims on my behalf for any merchandise that I return. I understand that the CBSA will send any refund of duties and taxes that were paid on the returned merchandise to the broker, and that I will obtain the refund directly from American Eagle Outfitters Further, I also authorize the customs broker to endorse any refund cheque issued by the CBSA in my name, so that American Eagle Outfitters can be reimbursed.
AE stores in Canada cannot accept returns or exchanges and cannot refund tax and duty costs of ae.com, aeofactorystore.com, and/or aerie.com or phone orders. AE, AEO Factory Store and/or Aerie stores in the United States can accept returns and exchanges, but cannot refund tax and duty costs for ae.com orders delivered to Canada. If you paid in a currency other than US Dollars, an AE Gift Card will be issued for the refund in US stores.
