Shipping Options
Currently, AE ships to all Canada provinces and all 50 U.S. states, APO/FPO addresses,
and U.S. territories and possessions, including Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin
Islands, American Samoa, Navassa Island, Baker Island, Howland Island, Jarvis Island,
Midway Atoll, and the Northern Mariana Islands. We ship using USPS Priority Mail, 2nd Day and
Overnight delivery within the continental United States. We deliver to Canadian addresses
using standard shipping from CanadaPost.
Orders will be processed and shipped pending credit card authorization. When you place
an order, AE will pre-authorize your credit card to ensure the funds are available. If
you are using MasterCard or Visa, the pre-authorization may appear as if you have been
charged. With some institutions' cards, the funds become unavailable, but the account
is not debited until the order ships. If the order is canceled for any reason, the time
it takes for the hold to release depends on the issuer of the card.
All deliveries are pending credit approval, merchandise availability, delivery and
weather conditions.
Standard shipping (3 - 10 business days)
• Your order should arrive within 3 to 10 business days after it ships. If you qualify for a free shipping offer, expect your order within 5 to 10 business days after it ships.
• Standard shipping must be used for all orders containing AE fragrance. At this time, we cannot ship AE fragrance to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Standard delivery must also be used for orders shipped to U.S. territories, Alaska, Hawaii or APO/FPO and P.O. box addresses.
• AE Gift Cards shipped alone will always be sent using Standard delivery. Shipping for AE Gift Cards is always free. Regular AE shipping charges apply when gift card orders also include other AE merchandise, but the value of an AE Gift Card does not affect shipping charges.
• Standard shipping by CanadaPost is the only home delivery option available to Canadian customers. Please visit the Canada help section for more information.
2nd Day shipping (2 business days)
• 2nd Day delivery orders can only be shipped to street addresses in the continental United States.
• Orders placed by 1 p.m. EST Monday through Wednesday will ship that day and will arrive two business days later.
• Orders placed by 1 p.m. EST Thursday will ship that day and will arrive Monday.
• Orders placed by 1 p.m. EST Friday will ship that day and will arrive Tuesday.
Overnight shipping (1 business day)
• Orders placed by 1 p.m. EST Monday through Thursday will ship that day to arrive the next business day.
• Orders placed between 1 p.m. EST Thursday and 1 p.m. EST Friday will arrive
Monday.
• Orders placed after 1 p.m. EST Friday through the weekend will arrive Tuesday.
Order History & Tracking
You can track
your order by providing your order numbers and e-mail addresses. If you are a
registered user, simply sign
in to your account to view your order history by date or order number. This allows
you to browse your order history and track the status of all your orders. If you aren't
a registered user at ae.com, you can use your order number to check the status of your
shipment. Orders shipped to Canadian addresses can be tracked through CanadaPost.com
but not through ae.com.
