Two years ago, 17-year-old Megan Grassell went bra shopping with her little sister, Mary Margaret. But in a sea of underwire, pushups and padding, they weren’t able to find anything for a developing, 13-year-old girl. So Megan set out to “change the bra industry for tween girls” and did something that most 17 year olds would not—she started her own company! Yellowberry began with one passionate girl, a mission to “build a product that didn’t exist” and a Kickstarter campaign. It soon grew into something much more. Not only did it land Megan on Time Magazine’s list of the 25 Most Influential Teens of 2014, but it also established Yellowberry at the forefront of a movement for girls everywhere.

Yellowberry designs and makes real bras for girls. Free of padding and push-up features, these bras are made for girls who want youthful, colorful and comfortable styles. Yellowberry urges girls to enjoy—not rush—the beginning, “yellow” stages of life, and Megan wants her product and her brand to “support girls to be who they are and celebrate their time as just that, girls.” We couldn’t agree more!

Now, we’re super-psyched to partner with Megan on Aerie for Yellowberry, our best collab evah! This exclusive collection of comfy, fun-to-wear bras is for our “little sisters,” the next generation of #AerieREAL girls. For Megan, this collab was meant to be: “I am incredibly grateful to be able to partner with a brand that shares so many of the same core messages that I built Yellowberry upon; inspiration for girls to have a positive self-image, strong self-confidence and a great sense of their own special identity.”

A girl with an idea is a powerful thing. A movement of girls is even stronger!
