A REAL Love Story: Lauren Scruggs & Jason Kennedy

How did you meet? Lauren: Jason’s co-host, Giuliana Rancic, was the matchmaker! I met him on set at E!, he gave me a list of restaurants and a hiking trail my mom and I should go to, and told me to text him if we wanted to hike in the morning. We had the best time on Franklin Canyon, and the rest is history. What do YOU love about YOU? Lauren: I have become more aware of and more capable of communicating my own feelings as I have gotten older, and I am always up for any adventure! Jason: Over the years, I’ve noticed that as I get older I’m more aware of people’s feelings, I want people to be happy, I want to be there for my friends more and I want to encourage them more.

What do you love about each other? Lauren: He is always so thoughtful, incredibly passionate about others, is an amazing communicator and leader, and loves me so well. Jason: I’ve never felt so loved by anyone in my whole life. She has the sweetest spirit and makes me a better man every day.

How do you celebrate V-Day? Lauren: The beach is our happy place, so we love to get away, spend good time together and just relax! Jason: This year we are going to a hotel on the beach and will just hang by the pool the whole time. I don’t like to put extra pressure on myself to make it a magical day. We are pretty simple people, give us a beach and a little wine and we will make the most of it.
