Aly took an experience that leaves so many feeling so powerless, and used it to empower others to speak out, too.

Aly’s bravery in sharing her story of sexual abuse led her to speak publicly in court and write her book Fierce: How Competing for Myself Changed Everything. Aly is also a strong advocate for Darkness To Light, a non-profit committed to empowering adults to prevent child sexual abuse.
Today, Aly is passionate about mindfulness, and knows that you have to find peace with yourself before you can reach out and help others.
