Lana is best known for her roles in To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and X-Men. She was adopted from Vietnam and grew up in the US, and she recognizes how lucky she was to get an amazing education. That privilege isn’t given to everyone, so Lana has used her platform to give back to girls in Vietnam through a scholarship with the Asia Foundation. Her scholarship has enrolled close to 20 girls so far in a 4-year education, and it also helps to cover the cost of learning materials, uniforms, transportation and food for girls from the same village where she was born.

“Education is power—it can lift you out of so many bad circumstances.”

At just 22, Lana is already changing the game, and creating opportunities for as many people as she can.

“There’s so many people out there who need a smile, and need to know that they’re seen.”
