How to Make Halloween Treats

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, microwave butter for 45 seconds or until completely melted.
  3. Add sugar to butter. Beat on low until smooth.
  4. Add vanilla, eggs and milk to butter and sugar mixture. Mix on low until thorough combined.
  5. In separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, pudding, baking soda, and salt.

  7. Add chocolate chips and mix. (DISCLAIMER: You can add candy corn to cookie dough now or directly after cookies are removed from oven. The latter prevents unpredictable cookie shapes due to melted candy corn.

Instructions | Part 2

  1. Place heaping tables spoons of dough onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. (DISCLAIMER: If candy corn was mixed into dough, make sure no candy corn is in direct contact with the baking sheet. This will result in deformed cookies. Instead, shape dough so candy corn is on top or inside the ball of cookie dough.)
  2. Bake for 8-10 minutes depending on oven. Cookies should look gooey and soft. Do not over bake!!
  3. For picture perfect cookies, additional chocolate chips and candy corn can be placed on warm cookies with a slight push.
  4. The cookies should remain soft and fudgy when cool… If they last that long!
  5. Voilà! Delicious Halloween treats!
