How to: Apple cider float

Forget the PSL, this season is all about the ACF – Apple Cider Float! Read on to see how we’ve turned one of your fave fall staples into an even sweeter treat.

How To: Apple Cider Float

FOR THE CARAMEL SAUCE

WHAT YOU NEED:

WHAT TO DO:

  1. Melt the cup of sugar in a large sauce pan over medium heat.
  2. Stir the sugar as it continues to cook, becoming a deep amber color.
  3. Add butter and salt, continuing to stir the mixture.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream until there is a smooth consistency.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool.
  6. Store in the refrigerator.

FOR THE FLOAT

WHAT YOU NEED:

WHAT TO DO:

  1. Drizzle a tall glass with homemade salted caramel sauce.
  2. Add 1 or 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream to the glass.
  3. Fill 2/3 of the way with apple cider.
  4. Top with sparkling apple cider.
  5. Drizzle with additional salted caramel sauce and garnish with a cinnamon stick or apple slice.
  6. Enjoy!
