Forget the PSL, this season is all about the ACF – Apple Cider Float! Read on to see how we’ve turned one of your fave fall staples into an even sweeter treat.


FOR THE CARAMEL SAUCE
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 1 cup of sugar
- 6 tbsp. of salted butter, cubed
- Pinch of salt
- 2/3 cup of heavy cream, at room temperature
WHAT TO DO:
- Melt the cup of sugar in a large sauce pan over medium heat.
- Stir the sugar as it continues to cook, becoming a deep amber color.
- Add butter and salt, continuing to stir the mixture.
- Pour in the heavy cream until there is a smooth consistency.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Store in the refrigerator.

FOR THE FLOAT
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Vanilla ice cream
- Apple cider
- Sparkling apple cider
- Homemade salted caramel sauce
WHAT TO DO:
- Drizzle a tall glass with homemade salted caramel sauce.
- Add 1 or 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream to the glass.
- Fill 2/3 of the way with apple cider.
- Top with sparkling apple cider.
- Drizzle with additional salted caramel sauce and garnish with a cinnamon stick or apple slice.
