Summer drinks meet classic sweets. Whether you’re on donut duty for work or you want a fun snack to bring to Sunday brunch, this recipe is a MUST!

Donut recipe
What you need:
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup honey
- 3 1/2 tbsp. butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. lemon zest
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 cup diced strawberries
- 1 batch lemon glaze (see recipe below)
- Donut pan
- Cookie scoop


What to do:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- Grease donut pan.
- In a small bowl, combine milk, lemon juice, vanilla, honey, butter and eggs. Whisk until combined and set aside.
- In a larger bowl, combine flour, lemon zest, salt and baking powder.
- Slowly add wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until mixed. Be careful not to over-mix batter.
- Gently fold in diced strawberries.
- Using a cookie scoop, scoop dough into the donut pan.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes or until donuts are golden brown.
- Allow donuts to cool for 5 minutes in pan, then allow to cool completely before icing.
- Glaze, ice or enjoy plain!

Lemon glaze recipe
What you need:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. lemon zest
- 1-3 tsp. milk
What to do:
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, lemon juice and lemon zest.
- If necessary, thin by adding milk 1 tsp at a time.
- Optional – if you want to add an extra level of flavor, add a tbsp. of matcha powder.
- Dunk completely cooled donuts in glaze and let set.
