Aerie fit tips
Your best fitting bra is the one you
forget you’re wearing. Feeling
like
you can’t wait to take yours off?
Read on and let’s fix that!
Start with your band. Is it:
Secure and even around your body
on the middle
hook? Look at you
with the well-fitting bra band!
Too loose and riding up your back?
Make sure your
straps are adjusted.
If your band is still not parallel
to the
floor, try going down a band size.
Too tight on the loosest hook? See if
going up a
band size does the trick!
Giving you back spillage? If you know
you’re in
the right size, try a style
with a wider band or
a smoothing
style like Real Sunnie.
Now check your shoulder straps. Are they:
Centered on your shoulders, snug and
comfortable? You’re good to go!
Sliding down? Try tightening them
first, or go down
a band and up a
cup size (aka your sister size!).
If you have smaller shoulders,
try a racerback.
Digging in? If loosening them doesn’t
work,
you may need a new cup size.

Let’s talk cups. Are you feeling the love?
Yes, they hug my shape and feel
supportive.
Looks like you found
your BFF (best fit forever)!
No, I see gaps at the neckline.
If going down a
cup size doesn’t
work, go down a band size too.
You can also try a new style,
like a demi vs.
a full coverage bra.
No, they’re digging in at the neckline.
If going
up a cup size doesn’t work,
go up a band size too,
or try a new
style. In a push up?
Try a lightly
lined demi or a full coverage bra.
Bralette fit tips
You can follow these same tips for
bralettes, but
remember those sizes
are different (XS-XL) and not all
have
back hooks or underwire. Want the
feel of a
bralette with the underwire
support? Try an unlined bra!
