Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
We start with cup construction, strap design, and lace placement. Check each style’s description for details like lining, closures, and allover lace versus lace trim to find the design you want.
Unlined lace bras skip foam padding, though they may still have a fabric lining. Lightly lined styles have a thin layer of padding. Lace can appear on either design, so check the construction details rather than judging by the outer fabric alone.
We like a plunge neckline beneath a V-neck top or a little scalloped lace showing beneath an open button-up. For a higher neckline, try a scoop-neck tee that lets a lace strap peek through.
Underwire lace bras have a wire sewn into a channel along the bottom of each cup. Wireless lace bras leave out that wire and use fabric, seams, and bands as part of their construction. Both can feature lace cups, lace trim, or lace panels.
Start with the care label, since lace and lining fabrics can need different care. If hand-washing is recommended, use cool water and mild detergent, then gently press out excess water without wringing. Dry as directed on the label.
