FAQ
Lined bras have an added layer of fabric or foam in the cups, but that doesn't always mean extra padding. Push-up bras use strategically placed padding, so check the cup construction details when comparing styles.
We like plunge bras with low-cut tops and demi bras with scoop or square necklines. For strapless or off-the-shoulder tops, look for lined bras designed to be worn without straps.
Wired lined bras have an underwire beneath each cup, while wireless styles are made without one. Either construction can feature fabric-lined or lightly padded cups, so lining and underwire are separate details to compare.
Start with the care label, since washing instructions depend on the fabric and cup construction. When hand-washing is recommended, use cool water and mild detergent, rinse gently, and air-dry without wringing the cups.
We recommend giving molded cups room in a drawer rather than folding one cup inside the other. Lay bras flat or nest similarly shaped cups together, with hooks fastened to keep them from catching on nearby fabrics.
